Tops 300 yards

Carr completed 26 of 44 passes for 303 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Titans.

Analysis: Carr benefitted from game script and was forced to take to the air 44 times as the Raiders attempted to work back from a multi-score deficit. He spread targets around for the most part evenly to his pass catchers, though he showed surprising rapport with Mack Hollins -- highlighted by a nine-yard touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter. Carr has at least 250 passing yards and two touchdowns in all three games this season, providing a relatively safe fantasy floor.

Modestly productive

Carr completed 24 of 39 pass attempts for 251 yards and two touchdowns in an overtime loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

Analysis: Carr could have done better against this vulnerable pass defense, but disappointing or not, the box score should be fine for most fantasy investors. The problem is Carr's Week 3 matchup with the Titans might feature a more fundamentally sound defense, and if Carr can't tighten things up, he might find that a challenging matchup. The good news is the Raiders improved their pass blocking a bit in Week 2, allowing just five hits and one sack on Carr.

Throws three picks Sunday

Carr completed 22 of 37 pass attempts for 295 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in a loss against the Chargers on Sunday.

Analysis: The Chargers defense clobbered Carr all day, sacking him six times and hitting him nine times even though the Raiders weren't really attacking all that far downfield. Carr was perhaps overly dependent on Davante Adams, who claimed 17 of Carr's 35 targeted passes, and second-leading pass catcher Darren Waller (four catches for 79 yards on six targets) didn't do much until the fourth quarter. Carr and the Raiders will face Arizona in Week 2.

Not dressed for Saturday's game

Carr and many other Raiders starters aren't in uniform for Saturday's preseason game against Miami, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.

Analysis: Carr and Davante Adams are among the players not in uniform, sitting out for a third straight week.

Misses HOF Game

Carr sat out Thursday's Hall of Fame Game win against the Jaguars, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.

Analysis: As did a number of Carr's top options in the passing attack, namely wide receivers Davante Adams and Hunter Renfrow and tight end Darren Waller (undisclosed). In particular, the waiting game for the first Carr-Adams connection since 2013 at Fresno State will have to wait until Sunday, Aug. 14 versus the Vikings, at the earliest.

Minimal or no use Thursday

Carr is among the Raiders' key players who figure to play sparingly, if at all, in Thursday's Hall of Fame Game against the Jaguars, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Analysis: With the Raiders slated to play three more preseason games after the Hall of Fame Game, it seems likely that the team will take it easy on a number of the team's key cogs versus Jacksonville. Analysis: The Raiders' first drive of the day ended in the red zone on a pick that deflected off Jalen Richard's hands, but Carr was basically perfect the rest of the way, hitting Foster Moreau in the second quarter for a score and Bryan Edwards in the third. The quarterback has thrown for more than 300 yards and two TDs in five of seven games to begin the season heading into Las Vegas' Week 8 bye.

Carr (ankle) was a full practice participant Wednesday and should be ready for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis: Miami, on the other hand, will be turning to backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett while Tua Tagovailoa recovers from fractured ribs. The Raiders had better luck, with Carr apparently getting good news from his MRI on Monday.
